SplitSticks is the same Slingerland 4-piece '60s kit used for Popsticks, but played with HotRods™ for a more laid-back and intimate sound - somewhere between the sound of brushes and regular sticks. Reduced velocity sampling means it uses minimal system resources. Close mic and room mic options give you scope to mix things up. Tracked through a '74 Neve desk, and as usual onto a nice thick roll of tape.
